The International Classical Theater Festival of Mérida takes its vocation to universalize the Festival and its Greco-Latin theater to Medellín. The refurbished Roman Theater of Medellín is hosting an extension of the Mérida Festival this summer for the tenth consecutive year, once more making the monument a theatrical stage.
Spectators of this tenth edition will be able to enjoy three great shows premiered at the last 68th edition of the Festival: La tumba de Antígona by María Zambrano and Miles Gloriosus, a comedy starring Carlos Sobera as well as the musical El aroma de Roma.
In addition, the parade The Marine Kingdom of Poseidon will also tour the streets of Medellín on Friday, July 21.
